Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), or as experts are proposing to redefine to Metabolic associated fatty liver disease (MAFLD), is a growing concern amidst developed countries such as Singapore.
Rising obesity trends, will lead to increasing incidence of MAFLD, with resultant chronic liver disease or even cirrhosis.
Joining us this episode is Dr Mark Cheah, Consultant Gastroenterologist from Singapore General Hospital, who shares with us his thoughts and approach for patients with fatty liver.
